The Creative Lounge
The Creative Lounge invites poets, singer song writers, public speakers, comedians, artists, film makers, musicians, philosophers, photographers, creatives and makers of all kinds to share their talents and enjoy discussion in a relaxed, friendly, informal evening hosted by actress/ artist/ musician Sharon Myfanwy White.
The idea is that we grow and develop our creative community in person as well as online. The evenings are a practice ground for creating a future arts venue in New Malden.
The evenings have a flexible structure facilitated by Sharon. Some people prepare a piece to share others decide on the night. The atmosphere is easy going and welcoming. Mistakes are part of the process and people are encouraged to try things out.
Expect improvisation, spontaneity and loosely formed performances and you will find an evening of delightful, moving and inspiring creativity.
We are currently seeking a new venue and will restart regular meetings in the Autumn.
